Last night our Development Manager, Matt Nield, took to the stage at Lightning Talks, a .Net Oxford event.

Matt presenting at .Net Oxford

Held at the Story Museum in Oxford the event featured talks from six influential individuals from the world of Development, including Matt Nield, our very own Development Manager and Kentico MVP.

With the Headless CMS growing in popularity in the development world, Matt’s presentation, ‘Letting your CMS lose its head’ was all about the rise of the CMS, what headless CMS is and the opportunities they might bring. Matt also gave delegates a sneaky peak of Kentico Cloud and demonstrated some of the key features and benefits.

The top takeaways from Matt’s talk were:

  • Changing how you think about content by not getting caught up in the presentation
  • Freedom for the development team to work the technology stack best suited to your channel's needs

.Net Oxford is a meetup of passionate .NET developers in the Oxford area. You can find out more about the group here or follow them on Twitter @dotnetoxford.
