It didn’t take us long to get our hands on another Kentico Site of the Month Award, and for January, our work on Atkinsons Bullion has just been announced as a worthy winner!

Kentico’s Site of the Month Awards recognise the quality of work carried out on sites built on the Kentico platform across the world each month. Last year, Ridgeway took away 3 Kentico Site of the Month Awards for AB Agri, Pure, and hmv, and this addition brings our grand total up to 10 – a very good start to the year indeed.

Atkinsons Bullion is the UK’s premium online retailer of bullion and coins, and has been dealing in gold and silver for over 25 years. They approached Ridgeway as the obvious choice to help them to create a reliable solution for their Kentico project.

A great result for both Atkinsons Bullion and Ridgeway, and further proof of Kentico’s capabilities.

The new website, built using Kentico's Ecommerce Accelerator, needed to reflect the premium nature of the brand and offer an intuitive transactional process for customers that enables them to view and securely purchase products at real time prices. This posed some challenges for our team, who integrated the new website with a variety of systems including live pricing via the gold and silver index.

Despite this success, more exciting work is yet to come as Ridgeway continues to work with Atkinsons Bullion to complete the second phase of work which will see further improvements to the site.

Talking about the site and its award, Ridgeway’s Managing Director, Simon Lassam, says: “Atkinsons Bullion has been a really exciting challenge for the team. Not only have we been able to use Kentico’s flexibility to add a number of integrations, but we have been able to produce a secure and visually compelling method of buying products at real time prices which both the client and its customers see as a huge improvement”.

A great result for both Atkinsons Bullion and Ridgeway, and further proof of Kentico’s capabilities.
