Ridgeway is helping the Institution of Structural Engineers to design a complex system, using the Kentico Content Management System, to manage registration schemes for the certification of design of building structures.

Ridgeway has been chosen to redesign the Structural Engineers Registration (SER) site for the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) because of the team's expertise in membership systems and clear focus on user experience behind design.

SER allows structural engineers and companies practising in Scotland and Jersey to join, and then generate PDF certificates for design work, as required by local legislation. The redesign will focus on clear navigation and more interactive features that will help members to administrate their accounts and keep in line with legal requirements quicker and easier than ever before.

Building on the Kentico Content Management System means that tasks can be automated, and the team can easily make changes to content. Time and energy to manage everyday tasks of managing and monitoring member activity will be greatly reduced. The system is scalable and well supported, giving IStructE a future proofed solution that gives the business the option to scale and grow.

“We’re delighted to be working with IStructE. The work we are doing will make a massive difference to their business and Kentico was the perfect choice of system to deliver what they need.” Simon Lassam, Managing Director, Ridgeway.
