Twinings lead the way with intelligent Kentico ecommerce system

Award winning digital agency, Ridgeway has created an ecommerce experience for one of the UK’s most trusted brands, Twinings.

The new ecommerce system not only gives Twinings a secure and easy to use platform for trade and consumers to buy online, but has integrated marketing functionality to grow sales and loyalty. It’s the perfect place for tea lovers to enjoy Twinings’ expert advice, unique range of blends and exquisite complimentary teaware.

Ridgeway built the site using Kentico’s Enterprise Management System (EMS), which allowed them to create a single integrated content management, ecommerce and marketing platform. EMS gives Twinings the agility to test designs, react to analytics, target website content to their diverse audience and create automated email flows to maximise their sales potential all under one login.

In order to create efficient stock management and fulfilment processes, MetaPack and SAP are communicated with in real time. The Twinings Ecommerce Team no longer have to maintain several solutions and technologies, allowing them to focus on creating stunning customer experiences.

The site mixes strong heritage with innovation and style perfectly. Striking photography and engaging content are at the core of creating a strong look and feel, which will roll out globally. The design is, of course, fully responsive so it looks stunning on a range of devices.
