The leading sushi and Japanese restaurant, YO!, has unveiled a fresh new look to emphasise the brand’s evolution into more than just sushi. YO! engaged their digital agency, Ridgeway, to redesign the website to showcase the new visual identity and vision.
Ridgeway has worked with YO! since 2017 when they first developed the brand’s website to provide a compelling and engaging online experience for YO! customers.
The new website design majors on clean, sharp photography to hero the food and convey the quality of the ingredients that go into every YO! dish. Ridgeway used rich colour palettes to complement the photography and frame the dishes, giving the website a luxurious yet fun feel.
Ridgeway’s experience and skills in translating brands digitally were invaluable and we are delighted with the result.
As well as the visual transformation, Ridgeway also upgraded the site to the latest version of the Kentico platform, Kentico 12, built with MVC architecture. The upgrade empowers the YO! Team with more flexibility to independently configure website content and marketing communications to enhance the customer experience.
Ridgeway has also implemented a new Microsoft Azure search feature so that dishes and restaurants can be found quickly and easily and with more accuracy, improving the user journey even further.
