We’ve pleased to announce that we are finalists in the eCommerce Awards 2019 for Best Food & Drink eCommerce category for the site we crafted, designed and developed for Krispy Kreme UK.
It’s the 11th year that the eCommerce Awards have been running these prestigious events, celebrating all in the industry, from online retailers and agencies, right through to innovations and campaigns.
Back in 2016 Ridgeway took home the trophy for the ‘Best Electronics, Computing, DVD, Film, Games, Music & Toys eCommerce’ award for our work on the ecommerce platform we delivered for hmv. Fingers crossed for another win at this year’s awards!
Krispy Kreme, the global doughnut and coffee chain, needed a new UK website help drive their brand forward, engage their visitors and deliver increased revenue through ecommerce. The Krispy Kreme website now provides a seamless and engaging doughnut shopping experience for both desktop and mobile which is easy to navigate, with quicker load times and a streamlined order process.
Comparing the three-month period after launch (26/11/18-26/2/19) with the same period the previous year, the new website has achieved:
- 90% increase in conversions
- 58% increase in pageviews
- 43% decrease in bounce rate
